I designed 26 episodes of this highly successful BBC 1 series. Comprising a mix of location and stage work, this challenging production called for a sophisticated design style that has since set the benchmark for many other shows. Incorporating a wide variety of environments, as well as multiple action/stunt sequences, the production has gained a reputation within the industry for demanding the very best visual and technical standards. Helped by a well-organised and motivated team, this project relied heavily on my experience and methodology. Working on multiple blocks simultaneously, in these demanding circumstances, required enormous stamina and dedication.
