A six-part adaptation of the classic novel by Mark Twain from the award-winning team behind ‘Little Lord Fauntleroy’. Incorporating various locations in Derbyshire and Sussex, this production brought to life the adventures of Prince Edward and the pauper Tom Canty. A warren of London streets and simple dwellings were constructed to establish Canty’s humble home, whilst a combination of historical buildings and sets were used to recreate the lavish Tudor court. A variety of visual effects were also employed to allow one actor to play both boys.
